'Show Desktop' Gesture Not Working

Occurs with both MultiTouch Utilities 1.55 *and* 1.58. Both firmware revisions flashed successfully and USB connection reset in between debugging attempts. The 'Show Desktop' Event Macro Ref is set to the default mapping. 'Show Desktop' Windows shortcut (mapped to Show Desktop.scf) works. Performing the gesture does not 'Show Desktop'. Problem is not improper gesturing as all other gestures perform as mapped. Comments? Suggestions? Resolution(s)?

On my Dell Lat Notebook (XP) with MultiTouch Utilities 1.55 my Open Desktop gesture works. I have not installed 1.58 yet. When you refer to Show Desktop, I assume it’s the same as Open Desktop.

Sure you didn't accidentally change the hand size adjustment? Remember Show Desktop is a spread-hand gestures so your fingers will be spread near the edges of the surface.

I am sure. 'Hand Size' is set to 'M'. All other gestures perform as expected, including 'Exit' which uses the same initial hand position as 'Show Desktop'.
