Double-click and drag

I apologize if this has been asked and answered before or if it actually is in any of the guides, but I sure couldn't find an answer! I run Windows XP on a Dell laptop and my Touchstream ST/LP firmware is v. 1.34. I kept all the defaults when I installed the keyboard as I don't do anything like programming, etc. My question is how do I double-click and drag? I use Finale music transcribing and in order to draw a crescendo mark I need to double-click, keep it held down and drag. I can use the touchpad on my laptop, but I sure would prefer not to!

First tap two fingers then immediately tap 3 fingers and start dragging these immediately (thats important, if you pause, the gesture won't work).
I use that all the time to drag-select whole words.

The sequence is non trivial, it probably should be a documented!
