View Full Version : Why two versions of the OS X utility app?

I was confused by the fact that there were two os x apps in the installed directory - one with a space and one with an underscore.

I chose the one with a space because it seemed more like a mac app, although it was pretty arbitrary which one to choose. I think I read the readme and didn't see any info about these two, but I'm not sure.

I was looking for the gesture editor and the Xwinder configuration but didn't find it until I guessed that the other app might be different.

If there is a reason to keep distributing the older version, perhaps renaming it or putting it in a clearly named folder could avoid this kind of confusion.

Thanks,
mike

I think you saw the two executables with slightly different names because you did not uninstall the old utilities (that did not include the MyGesture Editor) before installing the new ones.

Just delete whichever executable fails to bring up a launch panel that includes the MyGesture Editor.
