I'm having some trouble getting my iGesture to switch from Windows to Linux/Adobe mode. I checked the box for palm-slide switching, and have tried setting the action using both the radio buttons and manually in the gesture editor, but it seems to be blithely ignoring it. I do the palm slide, and the cursor wiggles back and forth, but it doesn't change modes.
I'm using the most current utilities and firmware update. Any ideas?

For the right hand gesture set (which is all you really get with the iGesture line), there are very few differences between Windows and Linux/Adobe modes. Redo will be Ctrl+Shift+Z instead of Ctrl+Y and other differences shown here:

You won't actually get Ctrl+= and Ctrl+- for zoom until v1.34. What changes were you looking for?
Also, you won't automatically see the Feature Selector change modes (i.e. change it's radio button selection under OS mode) whenever you do the palm slide, 'cause the Feature Selector only queries the device for its settings when the device is first selected. You'll have to re-start the utilities to see the effect of the palm slide in the radio button selections.

The main thing I've noticed is that the "close program" gesture doesn't work in X, even after (supposedly) switching modes. It appears to still be using the Windows ALT-F4 instead of the Linux CTRL-Q. I haven't extensively examined all the individual gestures, but the close program gesture definitely isn't working.

Exit is working as intended for both modes on our end. Maybe you're confusing the Close subwindow gesture with Application Exit. Close subwindow is done with neutral thumb, index, middle, and ring fingers.
Application exit must be done with thumb, middle, ring, and pinky spread such that thumb and pinky are almost brushing the frame edges.

Nope, definitely not confusing them. I use the "close subwindow" gesture all the time. I also use the "close program" gesture regularly. Both work in Windows, and if I use the utilities to switch the mode over the Linux/Adobe, it works right in Linux. However, the palm slides refuse to switch to Linux/Adobe mode.
