Game mode key combos

some games requires that you change velocity/direction using combination of arrow keys; for example press up arrow plus right arrow moves your tank forward while turning right, while you use your mouse to adjudt the turet.
seems the game mode "arrows" or normal keydtrokes don't support multiple keypresses like that.

or did I miss something? I tried "normal" keys like AWSD and they behave the same

Sliding the left hand diagonally in game mode should hold down the appropriate two arrow keys. Let us know whether you can get this to work.

yeah, i had no probs with this in quake3 - you just have to remember to put both pads into gaming mode rather than just one. It is very weird tho, for quake3 at least. I daren't spend the time getting used to it as i will get a good kicking online. So now apart from warcraft 3 i play everything with my old keyboard and mouse.

re: Quake3 I agree - I'd say that with FPS type of games the FingerWorks concept of "zero-force" doesn't really fit their nature. You really want to whack that trigger key hard, don't you?

I just tried the Touchstrem with Counterstrike and (although i did not do very well) i think it could be an advantage over mouse and normal keyboard once you got used to it. True, its a bit uncomfortable at first, especially the movementkeys are somewhat too sensible, but after an hour of practice i did kill some bots (did not dare to try it online ;) )
If you play games like WarCraft or Empire Earth you _definately_ go better with the touchstream.

I ve a very similar question/problem...
I#m playing Jedi Knight 3 at the moment and although the mousing par works ok the finger slide of the left hand is much too unprecise for tha game.
The problem is I can#t use the arrow keys...the don#t repeat automatically...the wsad keys I usually emplay for mkvjng forwards and backwards and stepping left and right judt move the character one step and then stop.
I#d like to know wher can change this setting so that the game becomes playable afain.
I have the same problem kn windows too...if I want to scroll some text or something with the arrow keys it always take seveyl tries before it actualy works.

I think you should try to switch off the variable typmatic rate, perhaps this helps.
But, to be honest, i think it will only work with the game mode and cursor-keys correctly.
