Firefox Dvorak

so far i have practiced about 2-3 hours with dvorak and am able to type without looking (albeit slowly). some of the punctuation still gives me a headache, but i find it surprisingly accessible (sometimes i just think about the letter, and where it stands in importance, and choose a location and viola there it is) The vowels are AMAZINGLY easy to adjust to.

However in firefox it doesn't seem to affect my keyboard layout, so i am forced to qwerty. Anyone know a solution?

Ah, control+shift isn't a global configurator. I thought it was, i have to hit it for some programs, whereas others work properly. Also there's a few known bugs with firefox and keyboard layouts, for example they randomly change back to qwerty.
